The Museum of the History of Polish Jews is the first and only Museum to focus on the History of Polish Jews located in the site of former Warsaw Ghetto. It is a global center for education and culture dedicated to preserving the lasting legacy of Jewish life in Poland.

Through its cutting edge multimedia narrative exhibition, lively public programs, a resource center and diverse educational programs, visitors to the Museum discover the history of Polish Jewry. It creates evocative environments, engrossing narratives and interactive installations that encourage visitors to explore these subjects using a wide variety of primary sources media and cutting edge technology.

The founders of the museum are the city of Warsaw, the Ministry of Culture of Poland, the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute of Poland. The unique learning environment of the “History Theatre” creatively engages the minds of diverse visitors of all ages. They discover the civilization of what was once the largest Jewish Community in the world and the center of the Jewish Diaspora.
